Connect Claude
Add DealTraq to Claude as a custom connector, sign in, and turn it on in a chat.
You need a DealTraq account and a Claude plan that supports custom connectors. You set the connector up once. After that you can turn it on in any chat.
https://api.dealtraq.com/mcp1. Open Connectors
In Claude, open Customize → Connectors.
2. Add a custom connector
Select +, then Add custom connector.
3. Enter the DealTraq details
- Name:
DealTraq - Remote MCP server URL:
https://api.dealtraq.com/mcp
Select Add.
4. Sign in to DealTraq
Select Connect. A DealTraq sign-in window opens. Sign in, choose the organization Claude should work in, and approve access. You return to Claude with DealTraq listed as connected.
One organization per connection
Claude only works with the organization you choose here. To switch organizations, disconnect DealTraq and connect it again.
5. Turn DealTraq on in a chat
Start a new chat, open the tools menu in the message box, and turn DealTraq on. Then try a prompt such as:
Show me every company currently in Diligence and summarize the evidence gaps.
Changes and approvals
Claude can change DealTraq data, for example by creating companies or moving them between stages. Claude asks before it runs a tool that changes data, unless you've set that tool to always allow. To review a change in DealTraq first, ask Claude to propose it. See the tool reference for what each tool does.
Disconnect
Open Customize → Connectors, select DealTraq, and choose Disconnect. Claude loses access to DealTraq on its next request.
